Alliance for the future
Theater Alliance is building an Arts Hub for the Community at 340 Maple Dr SW, Washington, DC 20024.
OVERVIEW
At Theater Alliance, we believe the arts are the heartbeat of a thriving community—connecting us, sparking change, and reminding us of our shared humanity.
Now, we’re stepping into a bold new chapter: building a permanent home that’s far more than a theater. We envision an accessible arts hub that will anchor community vitality, spark civic engagement, and elevate underrepresented voices. This project channels resources and cultural capital into creating a space where art and community can flourish. It will be a place designed for flexible performances, creative work, and gathering—a vibrant center that fosters shared success and mutual support.
After a successful first year activating this space at 340 Maple Dr SW with innovative performances and community partnerships, we’re ready to build on that momentum—and we invite you to help make it a reality.

Preliminary architectural renderings were designed in partnership with Grupo 7 Architecture + Interiors.
